The No. 3 seed CCNY lost to Baruch College, 8-5 and was eliminated from tournament play in the CUNYAC 2010 tournament.  The Beavers faced the Bearcats on Friday, April 30 at the MCU Park in Brooklyn, NY. The Beavers got started early by scoring two runs in the first inning but were unable to mount a comeback after giving up seven runs in the second and third innings.

The culmination of every team’s season is the playoffs.  For Dave Yorke and the No. 3 seed Beavers (13-18, 5-7 CUNYAC), it will start with a 1st round game against John Jay (10-26, 6-6 CUNYAC) this Thursday at MCU Field.  The playoff showdown promises to be an exciting one as the teams scored a combine total of sixty-nine runs in the three games they played over this past weekend.  John Jay took two of the three games, edging CCNY in the third game by a score of 14-13.
