Women's Soccer Defeats Mt. St. Vincent, 4-1

New York, NY - The CCNY Women's Soccer Team traveled to The College of Mount Saint Vincent and dropped the Dolphins, 4-1. The Beaver's record is now 1-3.
CCNY took the lead early in the first half, scoring the first goal of the game in the 31st minute. The sole goal of the first half was scored by Carina Subia on an unassisted attempt. The Beavers held the advantage going into halftime 1-0.
The game winning goal was scored at the 54:50 mark, when Ana Alban dribbled in from the right wing and snuck the ball inside the near post. Mt. St. Vincent scored the third goal of the game at the 62:36 mark in the second half, making the game 2-1. The Beavers would then scored two-more times securing their win and ending the game at 4-1.
CCNY held the advantage in shots tallying 20, to Mt. St. Vincent's 7.
The Beavers will continue play on Saturday, September 27 as they travel to Medgar Evers for a game scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.
